The National Armed Forces have received 47 of the planned 123 Combat Vehicles Reconnaissance (Tracked) from the UK, informed the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia.
The mechanization project of the Land Forces' Infantry Brigade is planned in several stages and phases, and the armored vehicles are now being supplied from the UK as part of the first stage of the project. In all, Latvia has purchased 123 units of the Combat Vehicles Reconnaissance (Tracked). The Combat Vehicles Reconnaissance (Tracked) meant for the Latvian mechanized unit are repaired and upgraded before they are delivered to Latvia.
