About the journal

"Tevijas Sargs" ir monthly military magazine. Its founder is Ministry of
Defense of Republic of Latvia, but magazine is issued and published gy State
Agency "Tevijas sargs".

• news and current events of Latvian National Armed Forces - Land forces, Air forces, Navy;
• compulsory military service;
• armament and military equipment, its structure, history and future prospective;
• different styles of close combat, its philosophy and technique;
• history of Latvia (materials are prepared together with the Latvian War Museum) and other topics.

"Tevijas Sargs" is an excellent visual aid and additional information source for schools` administration, military subject and history teachers, it can be useful to future cadets; at the same time the journal is a supplementary aid to preparing youth for military service and training.
